Some of my favorite things to make are gumbo, pound cakes, and pies of every kind. These dishes carry pieces of both my mother and Mrs. Pearl in every bite. And I'm still learning, still growing, blending old-fashioned country cooking with new ideas for the future. If there's one thing I know for sure, it's this: “You never stop learning how to cook, because there's always more love to put into it”.
MY VISION
My vision is simple: to build a food journey rooted in love, service, and connection. Using food the way my mother did, just as my mother did back in New Orleans. I want to be known not just for great food, but for the warmth behind every plate, creating spaces where helping others and cooking become one and the same purpose.
MY MISSION
My mission is to carry forward two legacies - Mrs. Pearl's and my own, through every dish I make. I hold onto the recipes, the values, and the heart she poured into her craft, and I pass them on through my own hands. Every cake, every pie, every meal is my way of keeping her name alive and making sure her love for others lives on through mine.
